Delhi on Thursday woke up to dense fog as northern India continued to reel beneath chilly wave situations. India Meteorological Division (IMD) recorded minimum temperatures of 6.2 levels Celsius and 4.4 levels Celsius recorded at Palam and Safdarjung. In the meantime, a number of elements of the nationwide capital reported low visibility through the early hours. Dense fog introduced visibly down to as little as 50 meters in some elements.
At a number of locations within the Delhi-NCR, the visibility was reported to be lower than 10 meters.
Due to dense fog and really low visibility visitors motion in Delhi-NCR and flight operations at Delhi airport had been severely hit.
