Thailand Open: Indian males’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty misplaced to Indonesian duo of Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan in the second round to crash out of the match.

India’s top-ranked males’s doubles pairing of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty crashed of the Thailand Open after a second-round defeat towards the Indonesian duo of Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan on Thursday.
In a match that lasted for 33 minutes, the Indian duo tried their greatest to remain in the match with a late problem however, Ahsan and Setiawan dictated the play at will with their fast returns, dominant match play.
Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty began nicely, however could not maintain on to their lead as Ahsan, Setiawan eased their option to win the primary sport 21-19 with some sensible badminton and highly effective strokes.
Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy had fought again after dropping a tightly contested first set and gained over the South Korean pair Kim Gi Jung and Lee Yong Dae 19-21, 21-16, 21-14 in 1 hour and 6 minutes.
Earlier on Wednesday, Saina Nehwal and Kidambi Srikanth sailed into the second round. Saina will tackle Thailand’s Busanan Ongbamrungphan whereas Srikanth will face Malaysia’s Lee Zii Jial.
